Gilda & Bohda are true masters in their field. A driving force in luxury photography they bring each subject to life inviting you to witness and
experience it for yourself
Gilda & Bodha meet in Milan in 1998, after exploring various personal and professional paths in the fields of photography and applied arts.
From that moment their relationship lives a metamorphosis that passes through various phases. “As a model and performer for my photographic projects – says Bodha – the role of Gilda becomes more and more multifaceted over the years. Her intuitions and the ability for creative dialogue enriched the photographic phase of my work with the project and research phase until it was natural to decide to jointly sign our photographic work” In addition to a collaboration in the field of Fashion and Advertising, where the artistic aura that pervades their works becomes their stylistic code, their synergy creates a production of contemporary photographic artworks in which the photographic phase blends with aesthetic experimentation.
In Gilda & Bodha’s vision the creative process, which is the basis of their research, gives at the image a life that goes far beyond the few moments of its fruition. The concept of oneness – of unity – is paradigmatic in the works of Gilda & Bodha : “Just as the alchemical encounter between masculine and feminine generates unity in each of us, so intuition, research, composition and execution are elements of an indivisible whole”.
Bodha and Gilda recount the fashion, in its varied and complex forms. They do it with an unusual approach. They explore the concept through the project in order to produce a world of visions, of lights and colour, where the details live in close contact with everything else, in a poetic equilibrium.
The driving force is two worlds that meet in a heterogeneous but coherent narrative flow, constantly devoted to research and renovation.
The big names in the fashion industry give them the chance to translate material suggestions into a visual story, thank’s to a personal style, made of references and reflections to other universes.
